Clairo has announced a new show series, Charm: The Residency, where she will perform five-night residencies at Los Angeles, CA and New York, NY. The LA shows will take place at the Fonda Theatre starting Friday, September 6, Saturday, September 7, Sunday, September 8, Tuesday, September 10, and Wednesday, September 11.
The set of shows are in support of her third full-length album release, Charm, out July 12. The record follows Clairo’s 2021 sophomore full-length, Sling, an album with its own charmed atmosphere. The indie-pop artists is celebration Charm with two five-night residencies in LA and NY. The LA residency will take place at the Fonda Theatre while the NY residency will be held at the Webster Hall mid-September. Ahead of the new record, Clairo has also shared new track “Sexy to Someone.”
Clairo is a lo-fi and indie pop singer-songwriter. She first rose to popularity through the success of the music video for her single “Pretty Girl” in 2017. In 2019 Clairo released her debut studio album Immunity, which spawned “Sofia,” her first single to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Her debut album also garnered attention from various publications who included Clairo in their end of year lists. Three years following her sophomore album, Clairo returns with her third studio record, produced by Leon Michels and promoted with two major city residencies this fall.
