Kendrick Lamar & Friends At The Kia Forum On June 19

Kendrick Lamar announced a pop-up show set for Juneteenth. “The Pop-Out” will feature Kendrick Lamar and friends at the Kia Forum on Wednesday, June 19.

Lamar announced The Pop Out — Ken and Friends, presented by pgLang and Free Lunch, via social media. It has yet to be announced who will join Kendrick on stage. The show title references a line from Lamar’s recent single “Not Like Us,” the viral disstrack against Canadian rapper Drake. The single is Lamar’s latest response in the infamous hip hop feud that has taken over the industry.

Kendrick Lamar is a rapper and songwriter originating from Compton, CA. He is often regarded as one of the greatest rappers of all time and praised for his inclusion of social commentary and political criticism within his songwriting. Also known as K.Dot, Lamar has released five studio albums with the latest being 2022’s Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers. The influential rapper has won 17 Grammy Awards, four American Music Awards, six Billboard Music Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, and more. Aside from leading a generation of musicians, Lamar also is an advocate for mental health awareness, racial equality and more.

Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.com. Those who are unable to score tickets will be able to watch livestream of the concert on Amazon Prime Video and Twitch.
