Charly Bliss at Underground Arts on Oct. 10

American band Charly Bliss are going on their Forever and Ever tour to celebrate the upcoming release of their third album release later this year. They will be touring the U.S. and coming to Underground Arts in Philadelphia on October 10th.

Showcasing a mix of bubblegum pop and grunge music (hence its frequent description as “bubblegrunge”), Charly Bliss released their debut single “Clean” in 2013, and their debut studio album, Guppy in 2017. While the album did not gain the mass attention it deserved, it did gain critical attention and acclaim, being named one of the best albums of the year by many prestigious pop culture magazines. Their second album release Young Enough would receive similar acclaim and find the band a wider audience with more pop-heavy tunes than Guppy, including the title song “Young Enough” and “Capacity.”

The tour will largely be performing songs off of the groups’ upcoming third studio album, FOREVER releasing on August 16th (the album is already available for pre-save/pre-order). The album will be produced by Jake Luppen, member of indie rock band Hippo Campus, who produces for other indie artists as well as for Hippo Campus itself. The band has already released two singles off of the upcoming album, “Nineteen” which is a slower ballad, and most recently, “Calling You Out”, a more upbeat, high-energy tune.

The opportunity to see this up-and-coming, dynamic band at the atmospheric Underground Arts, should not be missed. You can get your tickets HERE
