The Blood Brothers at Union Transfer on Dec. 11th

Seattle post-hardcore band The Blood Brothers is reuniting for a U.S. tour to support the 20th Anniversary (and reissue) of their 2004 studio album Crimes. They will be at Union Transfer on December 11th, and the 20th anniversary edition of Crimes, which is being presented as a double-vinyl release that now includes b-sides, and a booklet featuring liner notes and era-specific photos, can be pre-ordered via Epitaph Records and will be available in October.

Singers Jordan Blilie and Johnny Whitney as well as drummer Mark Gajadhar started performing together in Seattle’s suburbs when they were only 15 years old, leading to the birth of The Blood Brothers in 1997. Their exciting and powerful music incorporates elements from a number of genres including experimental, screamo, emo, hardcore punk, noise, post-punk, and dance. They released five full-length albums before their 2007 break-up and last reunited in 2014 for Los Angeles’ now-defunct FYF Fest. After their break-up, band members went on to perform in various bands including Past Lives, Head Wound City, Jaguar Love, and Fleet Foxes.

This will be an extremely memorable, high energy experience, and Union Transfer – an iconic Philadelphia concert hall – will be the perfect venue for this highly-anticipated reunion.

The Blood Brothers have a very dedicated fan base and tickets are going fast! Make sure to get yours soon! You can get them HERE
