Suki Waterhouse at The Franklin Music Hall on Dec. 10

Two months after welcoming her first child, indie pop superstar and actress Suki Waterhouse is coming to Philadelphia as part of her imaginatively-named Sparklemuffin tour. Not to be confused with a breakfast treat, the Sparklemuffin is actually a species of peacock spider known for its dazzling appearance and intricate courtship rituals. And like the Sparklemuffin, this concert will be a dazzling experience that should not be missed!

Prior to her career as a musician, Waterhouse had successful careers in modeling and acting. She officially started her music career in 2016, with the release of her first single, “Brutally.” She found success quickly with the following release, her 2017 single “Good Looking,” which went on to go viral on Tik-Tok in late 2022.

The year 2022 was a busy one for Waterhouse, as she also released her debut studio album I Can’t Let Go, as well as her debut EP Milk Teeth, which featured a collection of Waterhouse’s older singles, including “Good Looking” and the new song, “Neon Signs.” Her newest singles, “My Fun” and “Faded,” released in April, are part of a larger studio album expected to release later this year.

The concert will be opened by America’s Got Talent sensation Debii Dawson, who went viral for her auditioning cover of “Dancing Queen” by ABBA, as well as Bully, a solo indie-rock project by Alicia Bognanno.
