After years of waiting, fans will be thrilled to hear that the rapper, singer, and songwriter Megan Thee Stallion is kicking off her first-ever headlining tour, the “Hot Girl Summer Tour,” coming to The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on May 22nd. There is no disputing, as Megan herself has said, that this tour is certain to be the “Hottest Event of the Summer.”

Megan Thee Stallion has been creating music for close to a decade, but things shifted in her career in 2023 with the release of her song “Cobra,” opening her fans up to a new and more vulnerable side of her, and setting the tone for her future releases. 

Megan started this year off strong with the release of the single “HISS,” a song clapping back at her haters, and further cementing her place as a rap music force.

Her newest single released earlier this week, “BOA”,  samples Gwen Stefani’s “What You Waiting For?” and was accompanied by an already-viral music video, which pays homage to old-school video games and cartoons. 

The tour will be opened by Memphis native and fellow rapper GloRilla, who was recently featured on Megan’s song, “Wanna Be.”
