According to Brooklyn Vegan, the hot new supergroup Better Lovers, which is comprised of members from the Dillinger Escape Plan and Every Time I Die have confirmed the second annual Blissmas holiday show. Expect to not only see Better Lovers, but Converge, Fleshwater, Twitching Tongues, Dying Wish, Teenage Wrist, and Anxious will be there too. The event takes place in Buffalo, NY at Riverworks on December 14. Apparently there’s wrestling as well!
Better Lovers formed in 2023 with members Will Putney from Fit For an Autopsy, Stephen Micciche, Clayton Holyoak and Jordan Buckley from Every Time I Die. Experienced metalcore players through and through, their debut album is going to be released on SharpTone Records with more information to be determined soon.
The band released their new single and accompanying video “The Flowering” early last month.
