Lizzy McAlpine is coming to Philly! Lizzy McAlpine is a 24 year old American singer-songwriter raised right here in the suburbs of Philadelphia. McAlpine studied songwriting at Berklee College of Music before leaving her junior year to pursue music full time. She released her debut EP Indigo in 2018 and her debut studio album Give Me a Minute in 2020 but found success with the release of her second studio Five Seconds Flat in 2022, which included the song “ceilings” that went viral on TikTok. “ceilings” peaked at No. 54 on the Billboard Hot 100, with over 230 million streams. Her sound can be defined as indie pop, folk pop, and bedroom pop. She’s had collaborations with many large artists, including Noah Kahan on “Call Your Mom” and Niall Horan on “You Could Start A Cult” in 2023.
Her third studio album, Older, is set to release this Friday April 5th. The album has been promoted with a lead single of the same name. This is McAlpine’s first album on new label RCA Records. To celebrate this new album, McAlpine is heading out on the Older Tour from April to October across North America and Europe. Catch her at one of her hometown shows in Philly on June 24th or 25th!
