Man Man is coming to Philly! Man Man is a rock band from the city of brotherly love themselves, though they are primarily based in LA now. The band is made up of front man Honus Honus (vocals, piano, electric piano, organ, guitar, ukulele, percussion), Joe Plummer (trap kit, percussion), Mature Kevin (marimba, bass, melodica, trumpet, clarinet, bass clarinet, percussion, backing vocals), Harry Eggs Foster (bass, guitar, keys, organ, percussion, backing vocals, pack master) and Sam “CST” Small (guitar, rice cooker, full-bearded vocals, Furred harp). The band is primarily categorized as an experimental rock group. They released their debut album, The Man in a Blue Turban with a Face, in 2004. This album included one of their most popular songs, “10lb Mustache” which was featured in a Nike commercial with Rainn Wilson and on an episode of Weeds.
Man Man announced in March that their 6th studio album, Carrot on Strings will be released on June 7th of this year. Man Man will be headlining a North American Tour this summer starting on June 7th in Phoenix and ending in July. See them at Underground Arts at their Philly show on June 15th! This is a 21+ show.
