Country star Luke Combs is heading out on tour this year. The Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour features two-nights at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium on Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15.
Luke Combs returns to the road with a tour across the US. The Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour kicks off on April 12 in Milwaukee, WI and concludes on August 10 in Houston, TX. The tour is composed of 25 shows visiting 13 cities such as Buffalo, Jacksonville, Phoenix, and more. Majority of the cities include two-nights performances with each show having its own set of special guests making each night a completely different show. Special guests include The Avett Brothers, Hailey Whitters, Jordan Davis, Drew Parker, and more.
“When I found out we were going to be able to do two shows for most all of the cities on the 2024 tour, I decided I wanted each show to have their own unique set up of openers, as well as my own unique setlist,” Combs shared in a statement.
Inglewood’s performance will see special guests The Avett Brothers, Charles Wesley Godwin, Hailey Whitters, The Wilder Blue, and Jordan Davis on Friday, June 14. Davis, Mitchell Tenpenny, Drew Parker, and Colby Acuff will accompany Combs on Saturday, June 15. Combs continues to break records with the tour, becoming the highest-selling country artist and the first ever to play back-to-back shows at the SoFi Stadium. He also shocked the world with his unforgettable duet of “Fast Car” with Tracy Chapman at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. As anticipation rises for the upcoming tour, Combs has been teasing fans regarding his setlist, including releasing footage of a fake setlist with 25 tracks all labeled “Fast Car.”
Luke Combs is a country artist from Asheville, North Carolina. The singer-songwriter released his debut album, This One’s for You, in 2017. His sophomore studio set, What You See Is What You Get, followed in 2019, becoming his first LP to top the Billboard 200. That same year, Combs was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards — his first of seven nominations to date. Combs’ third and fourth albums, Growin’ Up (2022) and Gettin’ Old (2023), were recorded simultaneously and serve as companion projects. For the latter, Combs included a cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car.” His countrified take on the 1988 hit single became a bonafide crossover success for the star, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and bringing about a duet with the folk singer at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
