Cloud Nothings at Cafe Du Nord on May 26

Post punk revivalists Cloud Nothings have announced the Final Summer Tour in support of their upcoming album of the same name! They will be making a stop in San Francisco at Cafe Du Nord on May 26.

Forming in Cleveland, Ohio in 2009, Cloud Nothings are lead vocalist Dylan Baldi, drummer Jayson Gerycz, and bassist Chris Brown. Originally the solo project of Baldi, he realized the full potential of the project after being invited to open for Woods and Real Estate in New York in 2009, forcing him to put a band together and drop out of school to pursue the band full time.

Cloud Nothings would go on to release their debut EP, Turning On in 2010 to critical acclaim. Using the success of their first body of work, the band would release their debut full-length self-titled album in 2011. Since then, the group has gone through a number of lineup changes and built a prolific catalogue, releasing an additional six studio albums. Their eighth LP, Final Summer, is set to release on April 19 and has been teased with singles, “Final Summer” and “Running Through the Campus.” The band has also worked with indie music platform, Bandcamp for a number of exclusive releases.
