As I Lay Dying is coming to Philly! The American metalcore band is heading out on their Summer ‘24 tour. The band was formed in 2000. Founded by vocalist Tim Lambesis, the band quickly gained prominence in the metalcore scene for their intense blend of aggressive riffing, intricate melodies, and emotionally charged lyrics. With Lambesis at the helm alongside guitarists Nick Hipa and Phil Sgrosso, bassist Josh Gilbert, and drummer Jordan Mancino, As I Lay Dying released their debut album Beneath the Encasing of Ashes in 2001, showcasing their ferocious energy and technical prowess.

The band has had a relatively successful and acclaimed career. As I Lay Dying’s fourth studio album An Ocean Between Us peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, and No. 1 on the Top Rock chart. After going on a hiatus from 2014-2017, As I Lay Dying is back and thriving. Their most recent release was their 7th studio album Shaped by Fire that was released on September 20th 2019, and there is talk of a new album currently being underway.
