Kings of Leon at The Mann Center for Performing Arts on September 23

Kings of Leon are coming to Philly! Catch them at the Mann Center for Performing Arts this September!

Kings of Leon have had a long career, forming in 1999 in Nashville, Tennessee. The band is made up of brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill as well as their cousin Matthew Followill. The band achieved chart success with their fourth studio album, Only by the Night, which had singles like “Use Somebody” and “Sex on Fire.” The band has 4 Grammy awards under their belt, including Record of Year and Best Rock Song for “Use Somebody.”

While their earlier music is more Garage Rock with Southern Rock influences, their recent music has been more alternative-rock. Their most recent album, When You See Yourself, was released on March 5th, 2021, and was the first album to be sold as a non-fungible token, or an NFT. This album was the first NFT to be displayed at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

On February 22nd 2024, the band announced their ninth studio album, Can We Please Have Fun, which will be released May 10, 2024. A subsequent tour, the Can We Please Have Fun Tour, will take place from June-October, spanning from Europe, to the U.S. and to Canada. See them in Philly on September 23rd at the Mann Center for Performing Arts at 7:30 pm!
