The Stones are coming to Philly! Catch them on June 11th at the Linc!
The English rock group has had a long and successful career, forming in 1962 in London. Seven decades later, 3 active members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood remain active in the music industry, releasing a studio album as recently as this past October. Hackney Diamonds is the band’s first studio album of original music since their 2005 album A Bigger Bang and the first piece of work they’ve released after the 2021 death of drummer Charlie Watts. To celebrate the album, The Stones are going on The Hackney Diamonds Tour in 16 cities across the U.S. and Canada, from April to July of this year.
This tour comes after The Rolling Stones’ previous 2021 No Filter Tour which surpassed Taylor Swift as the highest earning live act in 2021. The two have been trading the top spot since 2018. Perhaps the Hackney Diamonds Tour will out-earn the Eras Tour? With Mick Jagger and Keith Richards at 80 years old and Ronnie Wood at 76, there probably won’t be as much elaborate choreography as The Eras Tour, but they still put on a great show!
Don’t miss your chance to see The Rolling Stones on June 11th at 8pm at the Lincoln Financial Field. Tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster, StubHub, and Vivid Seats.
