Los Angeles based rock band, Cherry Glazerr, have announced the Touch of Chaos Tour in support of their new album, I Don’t Want You Anymore! The trio will be making a stop in San Francisco at August Hall on February 29.
Cherry Glazerr formed in 2013 as the personal project of singer-songwriter and guitarist, Clementine Creevy. After finding success as a solo act, she would expand the project to include other musicians, eventually landing on the current line-up of Creevy, drummer Tabor Allen, and bassist Sami Perez. The group has released a total of four studio albums, shifting sonically through each of them. Their earlier work contains elements of lo-fi and garage rock while newer releases include punk and new wave sounds for a more solid rock feeling.
The group has experienced consistent success over the last decade, opening for acts like Slowdive and Portugal. The Man, as well as playing Coachella in 2018. Creevy’s witty and socially-conscious songwriting has attracted fans and critics alike, with some likening her to many of the most well renowned female musicians in recent memory. Cherry Glazerr’s latest release, I Don’t Want You Anymore, blends all of the best qualities of Creevy’s songwriting and the styles the band has explored over the years.
