Fall Out Boy at Moody Center on March 8

Following the release of their eighth studio album, So Much (for) Stardust, rock band Fall Out Boy will head on the second North American leg of their tour, So Much for (2our) Dust, this year. While on their 2024 tour, the band will stop in Austin, TX, on March 8th. Joining them in Austin are beloved rock bands Jimmy Eat World, The Maine, and up-and-coming pop rock group Daisy Grenade. The bands will take the stage at Moody Center starting at 6:30 p.m.

So Much for (2our) Dust is Fall Out Boy’s first headlining tour since 2019. The band went silent after touring their previous album, Mania, which, although was a commercial success, received mixed reviews from critics as the band explored a new facet of rock music. In Mania, Fall Out Boy introduced electronic elements in their sound, innovating the rock genre; however, in their latest project, the band has returned to their recognized guitar-oriented sound while also incorporating elements of disco, funk, and orchestral music. With their continuous sonic innovation, Fall Out Boy has more than proven how versatile they are as a group.
