Canadian rock band, Sum 41, have announced their final North American tour coinciding with the release of their upcoming final album, Heaven :X: Hell. The group will be making a stop for two nights in San Francisco at The Masonic on September 3 and 4.

Sum 41 originally formed in 1996 in Ajax, Ontario, as a pop-punk band, though they have shifted styles many times throughout the years, adopting a sound more akin to metal recently. The group is known for their consistent output and jam-packed touring schedule, often performing over 100 shows a year. In just the first 20 years of their career, the group became the 31st best selling Canadian act in Canada. They’ve released a total of seven studio albums, with their debut, All Killer No Filler, being certified platinum in multiple countries. Their following three records ranked highly on the Billboard 200 upon their release. The band has kept a consistent fanbase throughout their career but have decided to call it quits after the touring cycle of their upcoming album.

Heaven :X: Hell, will be the eighth and final album from Sum 41, also being a double album. The first “Heaven” half, will contain songs more akin to their earlier pop-punk work, with the “Hell” portion consisting of primarily metal tracks. You won’t want to miss the longstanding and massively successful Sum 41 for your last chance ever when they play The Masonic on September 3 and 4! Tickets are available here
