Oneohtrix Point Never at The Regency Ballroom on April 15

Well accomplished experimental electronic musician, Oneohtrix Point Never, has announced a 2024 North American Tour in support of his brand new album, Again. He will be making a stop in San Francisco at The Regency Ballroom on April 15.

Oneohtrix Point Never, often referred to as OPN, is the musical project of Brooklyn based producer, composer, and singer-songwriter, Daniel Lopatin. Lopatin made a name for himself in the early 2000s through synth-based recordings under various other pseudonyms before settling on the moniker he would be best known for around 2007. Since then, he has put out a total of 10 studio albums under the Oneohtrix Point Never Name, the most recent of which, Again, arrived in September.

Lopatin has done plenty of other work outside of his core solo albums, including soundtracks for films like Partisan and Uncut Gems. He also played a crucial role producing for global superstar, The Weeknd, on his last two albums, even serving as executive producer on the more recent Dawn FM, in 2022.

OPN is known for his distinguishably experimental take on electronic music, heavily utilizing sampling on some projects, while constructing complex MIDI arrangements on others. Again has been praised for its nostalgic feel, utilizing elements of music from Lopatin’s childhood and twisting them in ways only he could imagine.
