Longtime friends Steve Vai and Joe Satriani are going on a 2024 tour. Not only are they touring together, but they also have plans to release a new music collaboration.
Joe stated “The Satch/Vai Tour is happening! I’m so looking forward to sharing the stage with Steve again. Every time we play together it takes me back to when we were teenagers, eating and breathing music every second of the day, pushing, challenging, and helping each other to be the best we could be. I guess we’ve never stopped!” Steve added by saying “Touring with Joe is always a pleasure and an honor. He is my favorite guitarist to jam with, and now we have another opportunity to take it to the stage. I feel as though we are both at the top of our game and that the show will be a powerful celebration of the coolest instrument in the world, the electric guitar!”
Steve Vai is an American guitarist, songwriter, and producer. He is a three-time Grammy Award winner and fifteen-time nominee. His genre is defined as instrumental rock, hard rock, heavy metal, and progressive metal.
Joe Satriani is an American rock guitarist, composer, and songwriter. Satriani started as a guitar instructor and went on to have a successful solo music career. He is a 15-time Grammy Award nominee and has sold over 10 million albums, making him the bestselling instrumental rock guitarist of all time.
The Satch-Vai tour starts March 22 and runs through May 8, 2024. They will be playing the Beacon Theatre in New York, NY on April 6. Pre-sale began this Monday and public sale went live as of today! Tickets are available at https://www.vai.com/tourdates/.
