Photo Review: Fever Ray and CHRISTEENE Live at The Wiltern

Unexpected is the first word that comes to mind when describing the theatrical spectacle that is Christeene. This show was not for the weak and rightly so. Christeene knows exactly how to work the crowd with unabashed sexuality and vulgarity. Between stripping away their costume with each song, cracking jokes and urging everyone to lean into who they truly are, there was no shortage of entertainment with this opening act. Fever Ray was equally spectacular and held a magnetic energy while bathed in beautiful blue lighting. Their music fostered a sense of belonging and radiated romance, perfectly suiting their latest album, Radical Romantics. Each artist brought remarkable stage presence to their set that truly felt like a sensory explosion.
