Slow Pulp at Bowery Ballroom Nov 1&4, Rough Trade on Nov 2, and Le Poisson Rouge on Nov 2

Slow Pulp is an American indie rock band from Madison, Wisconsin formed in 2015. The band is currently based out of Chicago, Illinois. Members of Slow Pulp include Emily Massey on vocals and guitar, Alex Leeds on bass, Teddy Mathews on drums, and Henry Stoehr on guitar.

Slow Pulp began after childhood friends Teddy, Alex, and Henry simply decided to start a band. They released their first EP, titled EP1 in 2015. Their second EP was released in 2017, titled EP2. Slow Pulp’s first project did not feature Emily, but she made her appearance on EP2. In 2019, they released a third EP called Big Day, which was followed soon after by their first full-length album. Moveys was released in 2020 and received very positive critics reviews.

After the release of Moveys, the band went on their first headlining tour. Slow Pulp has toured with popular alternative artists such as Death Cab for Cutie, Pixies, and Alvvays. They are now signed with Anti- record label, and have released their second album, Yard, in September of this year.

Slow Pulp will be playing the Bowery Ballroom on November 1 & 4, Rough Trade on November 2, and Le Poisson Rouge on November 2! Tickets can be found on their website at https://www.slowpulp.com/tour.
