Flock of Dimes will be playing Public Records in Brooklyn, NY on December 8!
Jenn Wasner is an American indie-rock musician from Baltimore, MD, who goes by the stage name for her solo project, Flock of Dimes. Before this current endeavor, she performed alongside Andy Stack in the band Wye Oak. They toured the United States and Europe in 2011, and afterward, she shifted her focus to Flock of Dimes.
Flock of Dimes is an experimental project where Wasner has put together electronic beats and synthesizers to create her unique sound.
Wasner has released two albums under the name Flock of Dimes. Her first being released in 2016, If You See Me, Say Yes, and Head of Roses in 2022. If You See Me, Say Yes was given a very positive critical reception, receiving an 83/100 on Metacritic. She played heavily with the synth-pop sound and electronic beats for this album.
Flock of Dimes heads out on their 2023 US tour at the beginning of November, hitting Brooklyn, New York on December 8! Tickets can be found on their website at https://www.flockofdimes.com/, and limited tickets will be sold at the door.
