On September 7, 2023 The Wiltern theatre in Los Angeles played host to a remarkable evening of music, featuring the talents of Jaye Jayle and City and Colour. The anticipation among music enthusiasts was palpable as they looked forward to witnessing this unique collision of genres. First on stage was Jaye Jayle, blending elements of blues, folk and post-rock into a hauntingly atmospheric sound. Patterson’s raw and emotive vocals, coupled with the band’s ethereal instrumentation, created an otherworldly experience for the audience. Following Jaye Jayle, the stage was graced by City and Colour, the celebrated project of Dallas Green. Green’s music resonated deeply with the attendees.
