Incubus has announced a special show in honor of the release of the re-recorded Morning View album. The rock band is celebrating the new release with the biggest party at the Hollywood Bowl on Friday, October 6. Performing the record in its entirety and joined by special guests Action Bronson and Paris Jackson.
Incubus is set to release the re-recorded seminal 2001 album Morning View on October 6. The new version being titled Morning View XXIII will release the same day as the band’s major Hollywood Bowl headlining show. The album will be performed in its entirety alongside a second set of classics and other hits from the band’s longstanding career. The Hollywood Bowl show is the band’s latest announcement and follows their current US tour which ends on August 29 at Grand Junction, CO.
Morning View marked a major milestone for Incubus. The band’s 2001 album followed the 1999’s breakthrough record, Make Yourself, and further established the band as a major player in the alternative rock scene. Twenty-two years later, Morning View remains a heavy fan favorite, packed with some of Incubus’ biggest hits and deep cut classics such as “Nice To Know You,” “Circles,” “Wish You Were Here” and more. The record received positive reviews debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and even earned a Grammy nomination for Best Engineered Album Non Classical. Incubus is Brandon Boyd, Mike Einziger, José Pasillas, Chris Kilmore, and Ben Kenney.
