Demi Lovato Shares Rock Version of “Sorry Not Sorry” Featuring Slash

Demi Lovato returns with another pop-to-rock crossover single, one of her best! On Friday, July 14th, the singer released “Sorry Not Sorry (Rock Version),” a full-throttle rendition of the big hit from her 2017 album Tell Me You Love Me.

Demi soars through the track’s intense lyrics, culminating in a guitar solo by Gun N’ Roses icon Slash. Fans flocked to the singer’s Instagram to praise the new song. “I’ve said it before, but you went from being a Guns N’ Roses fan to having one of your biggest hits featuring Slash!” “That’s insane, and legendary,” one fan remarked.

Demi took to social media shortly after the track’s release to announce something really amazing! Soon, a new album featuring rock versions of her biggest hits will be released! “Breathing new life into the songs that played such a huge role in my career has allowed me to feel so much closer to my music than ever before,” she said on Instagram. “I can’t wait for you to hear REVAMPED on 9/15.”

Last year, Demi’s HOLY FVCK tour featured rock versions of some of her best tracks. The singer threw in some of her iconic pop bangers among the new rock offerings, which she revamped to fit their return-to-rock era. “I saw [my fans] rocking out to it, and it just brought a lot of joy to my heart,” Demi said of the song “Heart Attack.” “I would never have guessed that I would be re-recording this song for a 10-year anniversary because it was that special,” they concluded. But seeing it from that angle today is quite thrilling for me.”
