Gwen Stefani To Headline Honda Center’s 30th Anniversary Concert On Sept. 9

Gwen Stefani will headline the Honda Center’s 30th Anniversary Concert on Saturday, September 9th. The pop rock artist is set to perform some of her most iconic tracks and new music in celebration of the huge milestone for the indoor arena in Anaheim, California.

Honda Center’s 30th Anniversary Concert celebrates both the past and future of this iconic venue with Anaheim’s hometown music icon, Gwen Stefani. Stefani has performed at the arena nine times, including the iconic live concert recording of No Doubt’s Live in The Tragic Kingdom on May 31 and June 1 in 1997. The multi-platinum recording artist and global icon will return to Honda Center for the first time in over 15 years to headline the special celebration.

Stefani and Honda Center are donating $2 for every ticket purchased to Honda Center’s 30th Anniversary Concert to Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), a pediatric healthcare system based in Orange County, California. Donated funds will support CHOC’s music therapy program, which uses evidence-based music interventions to help address the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of patients. Susan and Henry Samueli, owners of Honda Center’s management company, will match the donation with a grant to CHOC from the Samueli Foundation, their family foundation dedicated to making Orange County a thriving mosaic of community well-being.

Stefani is best recognized as the co-founder, lead vocalist and songwriter of the band No Doubt. In 2004, Stefani debuted her solo career with the studio album Love. Angel. Music. Baby, which includes hit single “Hollaback Girl.” The Grammy-winning artist has released four solo records aside from the six records with No Doubt. Her last full album is 2017’s You Make It Feel Like Christmas. Stefani has released several singles alongside husband Blake Shelton and was featured on Sean Paul’s “Light My Fire.” Stefani’s latest single “True Babe” is her first solo single in over two years. Aside from being an award winning artist, Stefani has opened several businesses including the clothing brand L.A.M.B. named after her debut record and the makeup line GXVE.
