Devo’s signature themes include satirical social commentary, monotone surrealistic humour, and kitsch science fiction. They are considered pioneers of music video and have influenced new wave, industrial, and alternative rock musicians. Among their successes is the well-known song “Whip It.”
Fans can sign up for the festival SMS list through the official Darker Waves Festival website in order to receive an access code for the presale beginning on Friday, June 23 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.
