Photo Review: Re:SET Day Three feat. LCD Soundsystem, Jamie xx, IDLES, Big Freedia

Goldenvoice’s Re:SET concert series took place in Los Angeles, CA from June 2 to June 4, offering a revamped festival experience. At various venues nationwide throughout the month, the festival consists of a singular stage across the weekend, allowing audience members to attend every performance. Taking place at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, this event was highly anticipated for music lovers across the country. Day three’s bill included LCD Soundsystem, Jamie xx, IDLES and Big Freedia.

The final evening of the festival was closed out by fan favorite LCD Soundsystem. Formed in 2002, they instantly proved themselves as the indie staple they are known to be, keeping concertgoers engaged from start to finish. Frontman James Murphy was a powerhouse, from his vocal range to impressive rhythms displayed alongside Pat Mahoney, the band’s lead drummer. By closing the weekend with “All My Friends,” nostalgic fans left the stadium with a smile on their faces, already looking forward to next year’s Re:SET lineup to be announced.
