Zach Bryan at Forest Hills Stadium on June 23rd and 24th

Something will be in the orange on June 23rd and 24th at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens when super-sensation Zach Bryan comes into town with his summer tour. 

The singer-songwriter is a proud Oklahoman stays true to his roots with a folk/country sound pronounced by his raspy yet iridescently peaceful voice. His stardom has come vastly and quickly, shooting into fame with the music video for his song “Heading South” receiving over 20 million views on Youtube. 

In just a few years, with the help of the “Heading South” video–which was shot on a smart phone outside of the Navy barracks where Bryan was serving part of 7 years in the United States Navy–the singer has become widely popular immensely quickly. 

Perhaps it’s his charm, his smooth-talking ability that makes Bryan so popular today. Perhaps it’s the blend of folk, country and some elements of pop that Bryan brings to his songs along with his band. Perhaps Bryan just nailed the timing, new media from TikTok to Youtube and beyond contributing to his growth. More likely, Bryan just seems to have ‘it.’  His songs are equally catchy as they are spectacularly emotive, and he delivers them with the passion of a still undiscovered sailor strumming strings with his compatriots.

Bryan’s debut album in 2019, DeAnn, was met with wide success. His second album American Heartbreak, released in 2022, capitalized on his existing popularity. The single from the album “Something in the Orange” has been streamed on Spotify over 400 million times. The Burn, Burn, Burn tour is one featuring a mix of Bryan’s recent work, including American Heartbreak and his 2020 EP, Quiet, Heavy Dreams.
