The second day of Goldenvoice’s Re:SET concert series returned to Los Angeles, CA, offering a new take on the usual expectations for a festival experience. Taking place in various cities around the country, the festival consists of a singular stage across three days, allowing concertgoers to be in attendance of every artist performing. Saturday’s star-studded lineup included boygenius, Clairo, Dijon and Bartees Strange, drawing in a crowd of music lovers buzzing with anticipation as the gates of the stadium opened, continuing throughout the entirety of the weekend.
boygenius, an indie supergroup consisting of Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus, closed out the evening in Pasadena. Seeing the trio together following the release of their debut full-length album, The Record, was a dream come true for fans of the individually accomplished singers. Their encore included what fans refer to as ‘the holy trinity’, consisting of a single song from each of the artist’s individual discography. These tracks included “Please Stay” by Lucy Dacus, “Favor” by Julien Baker and “Graceland Too” by Phoebe Bridgers.
