Joji at the Moody Center on October 3rd

Just this last week, on June 1st, Joji announced a brand new tour titled Pandemonium! Joji will be coming to Austin, Texas on October 3rd and performing at the Moody Center. The tour includes special guests and opening acts Kenny Beats, Lil Toe and SavageRealm. Tickets haven’t gone on sale yet, but we have all the information on how to get them when they do go on sale!

With over 16 billion combined streams, Joji has become a common name throughout the music industry, but his career didn’t start out this way. Joji got his start on YouTube. He did quite well on the platform and wrote songs for various internet characters he played. He was one of the first pioneers on YouTube and rode that wave from 2006 to 2017. During this time, his passion for writing and performing music grew stronger and in late 2017, he quit YouTube to pursue music full time. On May 18th, 2017, Joji performed live as himself for the first time. Joji debuted his music with an EP titled In Tongues on November 3rd, 2017. In Tongues later became a complete album with 8 songs and 8 remixes.

Joji’s music can be best described as R&B, soul and alternative, but his music also has elements of lo-fi, trip hop, trap, electronic and folk. His debut album, Ballads 1, was released on October 26th, 2018, and features one of his most well-known songs, “Slow Dancing in the Dark.” This album was received with acclaimed success and awarded Joji with a magnitude of new fans. Next, Joji released his second album, Nectar on September 25th, 2020. It includes hit songs “Run” and “Sanctuary.” Unbeknownst to him, Joji would release a single that would bring him immense success. In 2022, he released the single “Glimpse of Us” and the single became his highest-charting song to date. It reached top 10 status on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The single was included on his third album, SMITHEREENS, that was released on November 4th, 2022.The album reached #3 on the Billboard 200 album chart and “Glimpse of Us” became RIAA Platinum-certified. 

General sale for tickets to the Austin Joji show are available on June 9th, 2023, 10 a.m. local time, but presale goes on sale sooner than that. You can register for fan presale on Joji’s website and that grants you access to tickets two days earlier than the general public on June 7th.
