Yeat and Young Thug Collaborate On New Record “My Wrist”

American rapper Yeat has released new song in collaboration with Young Thug. According to Pitchfork, the new song is called “My Wrist,” and marks the second time that Yeat and Thug have collaborated on a song– the first time being “Outside” from 2 Alivë. Listen to “My Wrist” from the official YouTube video below.

The new song continues Yeat’s trend of putting out unique content. The song’s vocal work from both Yeat and Thug is smooth, and the beats and synths are intense and captivating.

Yeat has been creating standout music since the release of 4L and Up 2 Më in 2021, and has been at the forefront of a new generation of rap that has taken the styles of Young Thug and Playboi Carti to create something new. Since 2021, Yeat has continued to release successful music, including 2022’s Lyfë and Aftërlyfe from this year.

Young Thug is still involved in a case that is charging him and the members of his Young Stoner Life crew with conspiracy to violate Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. Recently, the Restoring Artistic Protection Act was reintroduced with the goal of protecting artists like Young Thug and the YSL crew from having their song lyrics used against them in court.
