Lewis Capaldi at South Side Ballroom in Dallas, TX

This past week South Side Ballroom in Dallas, TX had the honor of having Lewis Capaldi perform there! Lewis Capaldi is the epitome of an entertainer, he is funny and constantly interacts with the crowd.

The opener for the show was alternative/indie artist Medium Build and they definitely had many fans in the crowd that night, playing soft indie music to start the night. It was the lead singer’s birthday and the crowd sang him happy birthday! It is one of the many reasons why going to shows is such a memorable experience.

Next on the stage was the headliner, the ever-talented Lewis Capaldi – he charmed the crowd right away with his humor and whit! Every few songs he would stop and interact with the crowd which was really an amazing experience. He even expressed his appreciation for smaller venues to be able to really see the crowd, and he also joked he “doesn’t do it for the money or fame, he does it for the ladies” which definitely had the crowd laughing and oohing. He even asked who in the crowd was a couple and said the next song would be dedicated to them; he really created a memorable experience for everyone in attendance.

Towards the end of his set, he even joked that Ed Sheeran was in the back. The whole crowd fell for it from the sounds of their screams, it was hilarious. Overall, he is an amazing artist and performer, definitely one to experience live!
