NOFX Final Tour starts with a Festival at Carson Creek Ranch on April 22nd & 23rd

NOFX will be going on their final tour and are starting in Austin with a unique camping festival experience! NOFX Final Tour in Austin is a 2-day event, April 22nd & 23rd, held in Carson Creek Ranch! There will be beer, camping, food and an exciting lineup! Lineup includes Circle Jerks, Pennywise, Subhumans, The Bronx, Face to Face and many more! The festival is presented by Punk in Drublic and the full lineup and stage times can be viewed on their official website.

NOFX can be described as an American punk rock band, although they don’t like to be put into one genre of music. Their sound has heavy influence in skate punk and melodic hardcore. The band formed in 1983 and have accomplished an incredible discography within their last 40 years together. NOFX has released 15 studio albums, sixteen EPs, 4 live albums and even an autobiography titled,  NOFX: The Hepatitis Bathtub and Other Stories. They recorded their debut album, Liberal Animation, in 1988 and it immediately caught media attention due to the controversial topics the album tackles and the unique sound it held. The band truly took off in popularity following the release of their 5th studio album, Punk in Drublic, in 1994. Punk music was seeing a revival in the early 1990s and NOFX was not left behind. It received a gold certification by the RIAA peaked at #12 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart. The attention from this album caused NOFX to receive many offers to sign with a major record label, but they declined. NOFX has never been signed to a major record label in order to keep their sound and image exactly how they want it! Now, the group can be described as one of the most successful independent bands, selling more than eight million records across the globe.

NOFX can also be seen in the political scene with the release of their 9th studio album, The War on Errorism, that ignited a campaign against the president at the time, George W. Bush. Member, Fat Mike, even organized a website dedicated to getting punk music listeners to go out and vote. The era compiled two chart-topping Rock Against Bush albums, and a Rock Against Bush Tour. The band is known for pushing boundaries and speaking their mind, regardless of the consequences they may face. Members Fat Mike, Eric Melvin, Erick Sander and El Hefe have always thrived by performing actions and creating music that can be described as out of the box or unheard of. After getting banned from a venue in Austin at the SXSW Festival while debuting a new song titled “Drinking Pee,” Fat Mike stated that he had always wanted to be banned from somewhere anyways!

With a new album released on December 2nd, 2022, titled Double Album, 14 other albums and an 18-minute single-track extended play titled The Decline, NOFX would need an entire weekend to play all of their most beloved songs. Lucky for fans, NOFX has stated that they will be performing a whopping 40 songs a night and will never repeat a setlist throughout the entire tour. The tour will be filled with nostalgia and emotions about NOFX coming to a permanent close. Fat Mike speaks for the band when he stated that “We are gonna play with all our hearts… With all our joy… And then we are done” on the Punk in Dublic website. Don’t miss your chance to experience this unique festival and say farewell to a beloved and inspirational band!
