Tears For Fears with Cold War Kids at the Hollywood Bowl

Tears for Fears announced The Tipping Point Tour: Part II with special gest Cold War Kids. The summer tour is set to conclude with one final show on Wednesday, Aug. 2 at Los Angeles’ remarkable venue the Hollywood Bowl.

The English pop rock band announced the U.S. and Canada summer tour via social media. The tour celebrates the group’s seventh studio album, The Tipping Point, released in February 2022. The 23-date tour hits major cities such as New York, Montreal, Houston, Seattle, and more. The summer tour begins June 23 in Atlantic City, NJ and concludes on Aug. 2 in Los Angeles, CA.

Following the release of their latest album Tears for Fears embarked on a celebratory tour, but had to cancel it after Curt Smith suffered injuries due to a road accident. A year later, the band returns with a second tour across North America this time accompanied by Cold War Kids. The Tipping Point topped several charts in various countries.

Tears for Fears was formed in Somerset, England in 1981 by Smith and Roland Orzabal. The group gained international success in the 80s taking part of the Second British Invasion rising to popularity through their new wave synth-pop sound. The band is widely known for their hit songs “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” “Shout” and “Mad World.”
