Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, KISS, announced their End of the Road World Tour and are coming to Austin on October 29th! The American leg of the tour starts on October 20th in Detroit and tickets are on sale now! Come see members Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer perform all of KISS best hits!
KISS falls under the music genres of hard rock, glam metal, glam rock, heavy metal and shock rock. Their shock factor leaves fans wanting more and wondering what they will do next. Their shows include fire breathing, light shows, fake blood and impressive guitar solos! The band has been on 35 tours and even has a two-part documentary titled, Biography: Kisstory, that came out in June of 2021. The documentary tells the story of their complete history as a band.
This American rock band from New York City rose to fame in the 1970s. Their unique makeup, outfits and performances drew people in from the start. After 10 years of glitz and gore, KISS began their “unmasked” era by performing without their costumes and makeup. This lured in a new set of fans who enjoyed their music. During this time, their album, Lick It Up, went platinum! In 1996, the makeup and costumes came back and fans flocked to their reunion tour to see all four original members dressed in their world famous looks! After the release of their 22nd studio album, Psycho Circus, and their The Farewell Tour, fans were sure that KISS was destined to retire for good. To fans’ delight, the band continued touring and released two more albums. Sonic Boom was released in 2009 and Monster was released in 2012.
KISS has an impressive discography of 24 albums, and a live album on the way! KISS Off The Soundboard: Live in Poughkeepsie (Live) is set to be released on April 7th, 2023. The new album includes 18 of their famous hits recorded live. It is said that this tour will be their final tour, so KISS fans do not want to miss this! Members Simmons and Stanley have mentioned the possibility of a new generation of KISS with all new members, but this will be their last tour as the original members of KISS. Come see this legendary rock band perform all of their greatest hits over the past 5 decades! You can access tickets at Ticketmaster.com!
