Ever since Bryson Tiller was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1993, he has had a passion for making music. In 2011, at only 18 years old, Tiller released a mixtape titled Killer Instinct Vol. 1 on SoundCloud. His career ultimately hit mainstream media when his single, “Don’t,” peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2015. Tiller describes his music style as “trap and hip-hop influenced R&B.” He is signed with RCA Records and has continued to push out new music. After the success from his first album, Trapsoul, he continued to push further and his second album, True to Self, peaked at #1. This became his first album to hit #1 on Billboard charts.
Not only has his own music done extremely well, but songs he has been featured in have reached the top of the charts as well. He has been featured in songs with many big name artists such as Chris Brown, DJ Khaled, Future and his good friend, Jack Harlow. The most notable feature would be “Wild Thoughts,” a DJ Khaled song featuring Rhianna and Tiller.
