5/5/23 – Chicago, IL – Concord Music Hall
The metal band Wage War is coming to Concord Music Hall on May 5th! Wage War consists of Briton Bond, Cody Quistad, Seth Blake, Chris Gaylord, and Stephen Kluesener. Their most recent release is The Stripped Sessions, a compilation album of songs in a stripped version instead of their typical metal sound.
Wage War’s songs like “Maniac” and “Circle the Drain” showcase what the band does best. They are great at incorporating post hardcore melodies in with their metal sound. The balance of attention grabbing melodies and thrashing guitars is what makes Wage War so strong. Their versatility when it comes to metal music keeps the genre alive and exciting. The Stripped Sessions is another great example of how Wage War welcomes different styles of music. Taking their metal songs and making the inverse of them makes quite a statement. Wage War is talented, versatile, and not afraid to redefine themselves.
Opening for Wage War is nothing, nowhere. and Spite! The artist nothing, nowhere. mixes rap, hardcore, and electronic elements to make similar genre bending music to Wage War. Recently, he released THIRST4VIOLENCE, a four track single release that features Pete Wentz, Freddie Dredd and Buddy Nielsen.
