Static-X at The Theatre of Living Arts on March 18th

Metal band Static-X will be playing at The Theatre of Living Arts on Saturday, March 18th. The performance will feature Fear Factory, Dope, Mushroomhead, and Society 1.

The heavy metal band was formed in 1994 by Wayne Static (vocals, guitar) and Ken Jay (drums). Their 1999 debut album Wisconsin Death Trip was their claim to fame as it eventually went platinum in the US. The group went on hiatus in 2011 while Static began working on his solo album Pighammer and soon after reformed Static-X before breaking up in 2013. Wayne Static passed away on November 1st, 2014 at the age of 48.

After Static’s death, the original Static-X line up of Tony Campos (bass), Koichi Fukuda (guitar) and Ken Jay (drums) reunited in tribute to Static, introducing their vocalist Xer0, aka Edsel Dope of the metal band Dope. Static-X announced a new album Project Regeneration: Vol. 2 set to be released November 3rd, 2023 featuring the final recordings of Wayne Static.

Their Rise Of The Machine tour offers a Tour VIP Experience for $75 that allows you to meet with Tony, Ken and Koichi to take photos, ask questions and hang out. The package also includes an exclusive VIP shirt, a limited edition poster, a laminate and a cinch bag. See Static-X at The Theatre of Living Arts on Saturday, March 18th. Get tickets here.
