Heatwave Music Fest returns for its second year!

10/6/23, 11/6/23 – Chicago, IL – Northerly Island Park

The electronic festival Heatwave is coming back for year 2! The festival will take place on June 10th and 11th in Northerly Island Park which is right by the Huntington Bank Pavilion and Planetarium. The festival features headliners GRiZ, Gryffin, Kx5, SLANDER, Tiësto, Loud Luxury, LSDREAM, and Malaa.

GRiZ is an electronic artist that takes influence primarily from dubstep music, but doesn’t limit his creativity when it comes to making unique songs. The Denver based artist centers his songs around headbanging synths while incorporating surprising elements. “Vibe Check” features a funky sax while “Ecstasy Of Soul” features opera vocals.

Tiësto is GRAMMY nominated artist with a win for his remix of John Legend’s “All of Me”. He has recently released songs like “Hot In It” with Charli XCX, “Renaissance (The White Lotus) – Tiësto Remix” and “The Business”. He is a certified hit maker and may be one of the best DJs of all time. His music puts an electronic twist on the house music that originated in Chicago. His modernization of the genre that was born in Chicago is a perfect addition to Heatwave.

SLANDER is the electronic duo with an electronic pop sound that is perfect for the radio. They have produced songs such as “Love is Gone” with Dylan Matthew and “Fall Into Me” which also features Matthew and adds NGHTMRE. Many of their songs are feel good, uplifting anthems that are a nice addition to the rest of the lineup.

Artists like Kai Wachi and Automhate along with about 30 other artists join the headliners to perform at Heatwave Music Fest.
