The Beths at Union Transfer on March 3rd

New Zealand indie rock band The Beths will be playing at Union Transfer on Friday, March 3rd with special guest Sidney Gish. Inspired by Alvvays and Bully, The Beths use vocal harmony along with sweetly sung melodies and melancholic lyrics.

The group formed in 2014, consisting of Elizabeth Stokes (vocals, rhythm guitar), Jonathan Pearce (lead guitar, vocals), Benjamin Sinclair (bass, vocals), and Tristan Deck (drums). After releasing their first EP, Warm Blood, NZ on Air and NZ Music funded their music videos and tours. The band signed to Carpark Records and Dew Process to release their 2018 debut studio album Future Me Hates Me followed by an international tour. The group toured supporting Death Cab for Cutie, Pixies and The Breeders. Their second album Jump Rope Gazers was released in July 2020 and their latest album Expert In A Dying Field was released September 2022.
