Weyes Blood at Union Transfer on Feb. 28 & Mar. 1st

See chamber pop folk singer Weyes Blood on the In Holy Flux Tour at Union Transfer on Tuesday, February 28th and Wednesday, March 21st featuring special guest Molly Lewis. The venue added the March 1st date due to popular demand.

Professionally known as Weyes Blood (pronounced Wize Blood), Natalie Mering was raised in Doylestown, PA. Mering self-released three albums under different variations of the spelling Weyes Blood. With influences of film soundtracks, Harry Nilsson, Kate Bush and church music, Mering’s songs express an ethereal and sacred sound. The singer’s 2019 studio album Titanic Rising explores romantic disappointment and received high placements on lists from publications including Pitchfork, Uproxx, Paste, Uncut, The Guardian and NPR. She had her TV debut performing “Everyday” on Late Night with Seth Meyers. She gained wider recognition when featured on Lana Del Rey’s cover of Joni Mitchell’s song “For Free”. With sold-out shows in the US and Europe, her popularity continues to climb. Mering’s fifth studio album And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow was released on November 18th, 2022.
