Born William Michael Albert Broad on November 30, 1955 in Middlesex, England, the future star moved with his family for a short time to New York before going back to the rainy England. After a period at Sussex University which only lasted a year, Broad discovered his talents as part of a group of teen punk rockers who befriended and followed the Sex Pistols.

Billy Idol is one of the most influential musicians of his generation, with a legacy stretching across decades. He helped define the rock music scene of the 1980s and 1990s with hits like ‘White Wedding,’ ‘Rebel Yell,’ and ‘Dancing With Myself.’ His collaborations with stars like Glenn Hughes and Cyndi Lauper added to his rise to fame throughout the 1980s, as well as transforming his music over time using various styles and genres while remaining true to himself no matter what label or genre he was labeled under.

The Billy idol tour will take you on a journey of music and nostalgia across America. His 2023 tour features all your favorite hits from his hits, including “Little Baby”, “Leader of the Pack”, and “Lay Down Sally”.

Come see the world’s greatest rock and roll star, Billy Idol, perform live in Hollywood Florida.

Melanie Stewart: Hi! My name is Melanie and I am a music business/management student at Berklee College of Music. As a young child, I began vocal training and continued up until my second year of college. My experience in music has lead me to many opportunities including performing at local clubs/cafes, joining a band, and writing my own music amongst other things. Outside of music, I have a passion for business and design. I have been able to create my own business as well as co-design a website for a peer project to be used for their company. I hope to perfect my skill and further my education.
