The Metal Hall of Fame’s sixth annual Metal Hall of Fame Gala is right around the corner. This year’s gala includes Twisted Sister, Lou Gramm, Chris Impellitteri, and more at the Canyon Club on Thursday, Jan. 26.
The sixth annual Metal Hall of Fame History Awards Gala induction honorees include Twisted Sister, guitarist Chris Impellitteri, thrash band Raven and Foreigner vocalist and solo artist Lou Gramm. The Gala is set to be hosted by radio and television icon Eddie Trunk and entertainment personality Cathy Rankin. Legends Steve Vai and Mike Portnoy are set to induct Twisted Sister at the ceremony. A few important notes for this event: there is a two drink minimum for all and every minor needs to be accompanied by an adult.
Twisted Sister will make their first live appearance in over seven years at the Metal Hall of Fame Gala. The band’s classic lineup of Dee Snider, Jay Jay Franch, Eddie Ojeda, Mark Mendoza, and late drummer A.J Pero will be inducted. The band formerly disbanded in 2015 following the death of their colleague and are set to perform together for the first time since 2016.
The incredible night will include inductions, all star jams, performances, and a meet and greet with Twisted Sister’s Daniel Snider. Adam and the Metal Hawks are set to perform. Former Black Sabbath drummer Vinny Appice will debut his new band, Scream Taker, featuring Jim Crean and Tony Franklin.
The Metal Hall of Fame holds an annual Hall of Fame History Awards Gala every January in Anaheim, California. The non-profit organization is dedicated to enshrining iconic bands, executives and musicians that have impacted the rock and metal genre. The Metal Hall of Fame Gala proceeds benefit the non-profit organization Drums and Disabilities (D.A.D.) which provides music programs for children and adults with special needs and disabilities.
