Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band at Moody Center ATX on February 16th

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are touring the US and Europe this year, with a show in Austin in February. With three Texas dates, they will play in Dallas, Houston, and then Austin. They will perform at Moody Center on February 16th, 2023.

Bruce Springsteen and his backing band, the E Street Band, are largely regarded as some of the best live rock musicians of all time. Springsteen initially began his musical career in the mid-1960s. He was inspired by large names of the time, including Elvis Presley. His combination of political progressive lyricism and traditional rock and roll allowed him to build his initial following. The E Street Band was formed in 1972, and along with Springsteen, released their first two albums Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J., and The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle, neither of which gained them their large following. This came with their 1975 album Born to Run. After the release of this album and their rapid rise in fame, they went on to create 17 more studio albums throughout the years, with their latest, Only the Strong Survive, being released in November 2022.

Bruce Springsteen was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1999, and has gone on to win multiple prestigious awards for his iconic music and performances. In effectively portraying the American spirit, he has turned down numerous attempts at large monetization surrounding his music and continues to stick to his roots of performing.
