Steve Aoki is bringing his signature genre-blending sound to Orange County, California on Friday, January 6. Presented by Insomniac, Steve Aoki is set to perform at Time Nightclub to kick off 2023’s first Friday with a bang.
Steve Aoki is kicking off 2023 with a series of nightclub shows. The legendary DJ is set to perform his first California show this Friday in Costa Mesa, California at the Time Nightclub. The show will be followed by a Las Vegas residency at Omnia and appearances at Costa Rica’s Palmares 2023.
Aoki is a DJ and music producer who has collaborated with various artists such as Will.I.Am, Linkin Park, BTS, Blink-182, and many more. In 2012, Pollstar named Aoki as the highest grossing electronic dance music artist in North America. The popular DJ is also known for his wild live sets and his infamous cake face smashing celebrations mid-performance. Many have heard his music such as “Tornado,” “Wake Up Call” and his legendary remix of Kid Cudi’s “Pursuit of Happiness.”
Several of Aoki’s studio albums and singles have landed in the Billboard charts over the years and in 2008 he won a Billboard Award for Best Mix Album of the Year. In 2013, Aoki earned a Grammy Award-nomination for Best Dance/Electronica Album for his first studio album Wonderland. Aoki is also beloved for his various philanthropic work including his humanitarian relief organization Steve Aoki Charitable Fund.
