Royal Thunder at Cobra Lounge on Jan. 7

Presented by Riot Fest, Royal Thunder will perform in Chicago just following the start of 2023. Along with headlining band Royal Thunder, supporting acts The Evictions and Boybrain are set to open. The show, which will take place on Jan. 7, is in the city’s Cobra Lounge.

Most recently, Royal Thunder released a single titled “The Knife.” The track came out in fall of 2022. Their most recent album however was dropped by the rockers in 2017. WICK consists of a dozen tracks and according to an article by Rolling Stone, the record helped define their signature sound.

The Evictions as well as Boybrain are opening for the Cobra Lounge show in January. The Evictions most recently released III in 2020 as a two-track EP. Boybrain’s latest, as well as their debut EP is titled In The Company Of Worms. The project consists of six songs and came out in 2022.
