Jerry Cantrell has announced his Brighten 2023 Tour with special guest Thunderpussy. The tour is set to run from late February through March. The Brighten Tour includes a stop on Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium in Riverside, California.
American guitarist, singer-songwriter and co-founder of rock band Alice In Chains, Jerry Cantrell, announced the U.S. leg of the Brighten Tour. The tour is in celebration of Cantrell’s fourth solo studio album, Brighten, released on Oct. 29, 2021. The nine-track record includes songs such as “Prism of Doubt,” “Siren Song,” Nobody Breaks You,” and more. The Brighten U.S. Tour is set to stop in cities such as San Francisco, Atlanta, Portland, Denver, and others.
Ahead of the upcoming tour, Cantrell also announced that he will be joining long-time friends, Bush, for two shows in January 2023. Bush and Cantrell will perform together on Jan. 28, 2023, at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada and on Jan. 29, 2023, at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California.
Cantrell is best known as the founder and unique voice of Alice In Chains, earning nine Grammy Award-nominations with the band. Cantrell launched his solo career with the release of his debut 1998 album Boddy Depot. Cantrell has also collaborated and performed with many major artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Pantera, and others. Recognized as one of the world’s greatest guitarist of all time, Cantrell certainly does not stop his grind as he’s either touring or working on new music constantly.
