The macabre pop artist Sub Urban will be performing on Wednesday, December 14th at The Foundry on his first headlining tour. The singer will be performing with The Teenage Disaster.
Raised in Richwood, NJ, Danny Maisonneuve, going under the moniker Sub Urban, was trained classical piano at age 6 until he began producing at 15 and dropped out of high school to pursue his music career. The singer, producer and songwriter rose to popularity when his song “Cradles” went viral on TikTok. He released his first studio EP, Thrill Seeker in 2020 and was scheduled to tour North America and Europe with Melanie Martinez and Naaz for the “K-12 Tour” which was later postponed due to the pandemic. In June of this year, he released his debut studio album HIVE featuring collaborations with AURORA, BENEE, WHOKILLEDXIX and Bella Poarch. The album has a manic, sinister feeling and whimsical sound with horror themed music videos to match. Sub Urban’s sound is influenced by artists such as K. Flay, EDEN, Aries, Verzache, Joji, Cage the Elephant, and NoMBe.
