Modest Mouse at the Fillmore on December 15th

Alternative rock band Modest Mouse is coming to the Fillmore on December 15th on The Lonesome Crowded West Tour. The tour commemorates the 25th anniversary of their 1997 album, The Lonesome Crowded West. The group will be playing with electro, soul band, Mattress.

Modest Mouse is known for their experimental indie music and dark lyrics with their most popular songs being “Float On” and “Dashboard”. Formed in 1993 in Washington, US by Isaac Brock (singer/guitarist), Eric Judy (bassist) and Jeremiah Green (drummer), the band gained recognition by shaping the sound of late ‘90s indie rock inspired by the Pixies, XTC, Pavement and Talking Heads.

Modest Mouse’s last tour was in support of their latest album released in 2021, The Golden Casket. This year they’re celebrating their 2014 album, The Lonesome Crowded West, featuring songs, “Teeth Like God’s Shoeshine”, “Cowboy Dan”, and “Polar Opposites”. They have already started working on new music, teaming up with former band member Johnny Marr to write their songs.
